dual credit classes

About Dual Enrollment:

If students are looking to do dual enrollment for the purpose of transitioning to the pursuit of a Maranatha degree, they should speak with Phillip Olt about the majors and freshman online plans. If the student is taking dual enrollment classes to transfer elsewhere, they should confirm what MBU courses will meet the requirements of their future degree at that school.

At the high school level, it is always up to the administrators what dual enrollment classes are accepted and how they will count toward the student’s high school requirements. In general, they would recommend two semesters of college English (i.e. English Composition 1&2) to meet the requirement for one year of HS English. However, the determinations are completely up to the administrators at the high schools.
