At Tabernacle Christian School, learning begins with a warm, Christian environment. Teachers are careful to give students the individual attention they need, and helping students develop godly character is a high priority, further improving the learning process.

Open parent-teacher communication and tracking student progress are the keys to anticipating and preventing many difficulties in the learning process. It is also a vital part of our mission to partner with you as parents in your child's development. Sycamore Education, our online information system, allows parents 24-hour access to their child's grades and discipline records, as well as other important school records.

The A Beka curriculum gives the academic program a strong emphasis on phonics-based reading and mastering the fundamentals of each core subject. With Saxon math, students also benefit from hands-on learning and a solid foundation for higher education.

In the elementary, enrichment classes such as Spanish, music and art are standard for every grade level. In high school, students can choose from electives such as choir, band, Spanish I-III, yearbook, and more than 50 advanced and specialized online courses provided by Alpha-Omega Online. Dual-credit courses through Maranatha Baptist University and Ivy Tech also give students a head start on earning credits toward their college degrees.

As a result, Tabernacle students consistently outperform their peers and the national standard standardized tests such as ISTEP, Stanford Achievement Tests, and SATs/ACTs.
